Citi’s Women & Company

Seeing as I have yet to set up a brokerage account to make my bonus work for me, I was toying with the idea of joining Citi’s Women & Company.  But I’m not sure.

Da.  Nyet?  Ne zhnao!

I’d like to have a trusted interactive voice response system against which to bounce financial inquiries, et cetera.  I feel weird continuing to ask my dad, especially since he’s never had to grapple with questions like, “Is it more cost effective to become a foster parent or get artificially inseminated and make the offspring declare themselves an independent when they turn 13?”

I mean, you know.  In theory.

Has anyone had any experience with Women & Company?

  1. I have better recs for you than women and co.

  2. Not worth the money.. You would be better off getting a subscription to the Wall Street Journal.

  3. I’ve heard some good things about W&Co. Why didn’t Rachel and MB think it wasn’t worth it? I’m also seriously considering signing up but still looking for feedback from those who have tried it.

  4. I did not find Women & Co helpful either. Beware - it seems to be Citibank’s way of getting your name and then marketing all of their products to you - credit cards, mortgages, CDs, checking accounts and so on and so on. . ..
